Peio is the oldest tourist resort in Val di Sole in Trentino, at the base of the alpine mountain group Ortles Cevedale with peaks all above 3000 meters in the Stelvio National Park. In the summer Val di Pejo offers the chance to practise variety of sports and pastime activities such as trekking, canoeing, rafting, mountanin bike, horse riding, nordic walking, fishing, tennis, archery. The renewed Thermal Spa Centre of Pejo, besides thermal therapy, disposes of a Health Centre equipped with fitness room, swimming pool and common whirlpool, as well as a Wellness Centre with steam room and aromatic bath. P ejo is the ideal resort also for the winter season: only a few kilometers away there are the ski areas of Marilleva-Folgarida , Madonna di Campiglio and Tonale. A single skipass (Skirama Dolomiti), expands your available ski and snowboard area to 200 kilometres and with 80 ski lifts. Convenient ski bus (NeveBus service) connects different ski slopes. The Ski Schools of Pejo and Marilleva provide individual and group lessons for downhill alpine and carving ski, snowboard, torchlight rides and ski competitions.
The Pejo Thermal Spa, which has been completely renovated in 2012, has expanded its wide range of treatments and services by creating new, inviting and refined areas, new thermal pools and areas reserved for the treatment of problems and illnesses related to the circulatory system, for physical rehabilitation, for fitness and for thermal spa treatments. The area for inhalation therapy has been rebuilt and the most up-to-date equipment has been installed.
The traditional carbon dioxide baths are now located in an area that has been completely redesigned to include the latest technology; treatments using mud that has been steeped in the Pejo thermal water are also possible. The spa and wellness area now occupies an entire floor and the goal of this area is to ensure that each specific treatment provides a pleasant feeling at both a physical and emotional level. All areas are connected to each other with internal passageways, in order to give each person the opportunity to choose which treatments to follow and the best way to relax according to one’s own needs. Great attention has been given to the use of energy saving methods and the protection of the environment by using eco-friendly and locally sustainable materials. More info at www.termepejo.it
